A Surprise for Mom

Dad contacted me to get some portraits done for Mom of him and their 2 boys as a surprise for Mother’s Day. I had an awesome time with these guys….Mr. “K” and Mr. “G” were so much fun, patient and full of energy. You can’t get any cuter than these 2! I was a little worried about ruining the surprise but Dad said the hardest part of keeping it a secret will be keeping the boys from telling Mom! So here you go Dad, a few sneak peeks…I think Mom is going to love them!

Birthday Surprise

Mom asked me to do a quick session for a birthday surprise for Dad. It worked out good since he went out of town for 2 days. These two were so much fun and very patient! And I think Dad was genuinely surprised and loved his pictures. Here are a few snaps of Miss “K” and Mr. “C” from their session…

The Cantu’s

Today’s session was such a blast! The Cantu’s are such a cool, close-knit family…extremely loving and it shows! I loved this family of 4, they were willing to try pretty much everything I threw at them. I had them climb up into a barn loft and pose on an old truck, they even showed their UT pride! Hook Em! I had so much fun today with this sweet family of 4, they are my neighbors and my friends. We carpool and hang out almost every day. It’s so wonderful to have such awesome neighbors! Here you go guys, here is your sneak peak….enjoy!

In front of the camera for a change!

Today I had the absolute pleasure of doing a family session with my friend Kristen and her family. We decided a few weeks ago that we needed to do a swap and take each others photos, since we are always behind the camera we never get pictures of us with our families. We headed out around 7:45am and the weather was nice, a little windy though. The sun kept playing peek-a-boo with the clouds so it was definitely challenging to get the exposures just right. Our first stop was at some awesome train tracks which is a favorite location for both of us. The kids had fun walking along the tracks and we were even lucky enough to have a train come through during our session! We then went a short way down the road to an old warehouse that is perfectly rusted and run-down. Everyone did such a great job, and I am so glad to have been a part of it. Growing Up

I took my son Brady out last week to take some portraits in celebration of him starting first grade. He did so good and we had so much fun hanging out with each other and venturing around to different places to shoot photos. Here are a few of my favorites…

Today I had my first session with the beautiful Kling family and it was so much fun! It was so nice to work with them, they were so relaxed and knew just what to do. They welcomed twin boys just 14 weeks ago and they are so precious, I was so in love. Also in the family portrait were their two beloved pooches, Bear and Dylan who along with the babies had me giggling quite a bit. I can only hope my future sessions go as well as this one did today!
